[Milsurplus] Convoy VHF - TBS or TBY?

The MBF was to be the replacement for the shipboard TBY. There is even a
drawing in the manual showing someone walking onto a merchant vessel lugging
the two cases. But the only manual I have ever seen on it is dated 06/13/45,
after VE day. And it was, from the quality (or lack thereof) of the paper
and printing, rushed into print to get it out that early. My conclusion is
that they never saw service in the Atlantic.

And there was a 115 VAC/VDC vibrator supply for the TBY. I've had three or
four of them over the years.
