[Milsurplus] ARB Questions

I've three ARB questions:

Do you have to use the right angle connectors on the front of the receiver
if the canvass cover is to be fit over the set? (W/o the ARR-1). I don't
have access to a cover right now.

And, if the ARR-1 were fitted, is there a special canvass cover, different
from the standard ARB one? I pointed out thye ARR-1 cover a few days ago.


Also, is an alignment issue between the shock mount and the receiver
common. The set goes almost home, but one latching pin seems to be binding
slightly. Is the cure to bend the sheet metal to which the pin is attached
slightly?

It seems that the pin could get slightly bent if the radio is slid into
the tray imperfectly aligned.
