[Milsurplus] URM-25 Signal Generator

I recently acquired another URM-25 and I am curious if anyone can explain
an anomaly on the ID plates.

The label on the top of the case identifies it as a URM-25*K*. The labels
on the front panel and inside on the power supply identify it as a URM-25*D*.
All 3 plates bear the same serial number (A123). The manufacturer,
Computronics Inc., is listed on the top plate and 67116 (which I believe is
the contractor code for Computronics) is on the other 2 labels.

Why the "D'" and "K" discrepancy?

This unit has either been overhauled and refinished or else never used
since it looks brand new.
