Yes that is the RA 34 rectifier supply for the BC 191 . The SCR 177 used the PE 49 gas gen set to get the 1kv for the 191.
I guess "Cosmopoltin" had pictures of gals....gets pretty lonely out there in New Guinea.

What is that in the chest to the left of the transmitter? Is that the power supply?
Interesting to see a copy of "Cosmopolitan" magazine on the bench beside the operator. All the way out in New Guinea!
