AN/GRC-4, -6, -8 are identical to AN/GRC-3, -5, -7 except that there is
no R-108, -109, -110/GRC in the AN/GRC-4, -6, -8.

The manual for the AN/VRC-20, -21, -22 is TM 11-642. My copy is dated
11 July 1952, with Change 5 dated 3 April 1975 (!!!).
Anyone putting together one of these systems that use the large MT-297/GR
mount (AN/GRC-3 through 8, AN/VRC-13 to -15 and -20 to -22) should just go
ahead and assemble the full-monty AN/GRC-7. The main components and
associated manuals for the AN/GRC-7 are:
AB-15/GR Antenna Base for RT-68
AB-15/GR Antenna Base for RT-70
AB-22/GR Antenna Mast for RT-70
AB-24/GR Antenna Mast for RT-68
AB-24/GR Antenna Mast for RT-70
AM-65/GRC AF Amplifier TM 11-5039
C-375/VRC Remote Control Box, with WM-46/U cable to MT-297
C-433/GRC Line Control Box - Remote, part of AN/GRA-6
C-434/GRC Line Control Box - Local, part of AN/GRA-6
C-435/GRC Re-transmission Control Box, on MT-297
CG-530/U RG-62A/U RF Cable/Connectors, RT-68 to antenna
CG-530/U RG-62A/U RF Cable/Connectors, RT-70 to antenna
CO-212 DC Power Cable to MT-297
CX-1070/U Chest Set AF Cable, part of AN/GSA-6
CX-1211/U Cable Assembly PP-112 to RT-68
CX-1213/U Cable Assembly AM-65 to RT-70
H-33/PT Handset
H-63/U Chest Set AF Headset/Microphone, connects to SA-142
LS-166/U Speaker, to AM-65
MS-117-A Antenna Mast for RT-68
MT-297/GR Mount with junction box and cables
PP-112/GR Power Supply (24 VDC) for RT-68 TM 11-5036
PP-282/GRC Power Supply (24 VDC) for RT-70* TM 11-5040
PP-282/GRC Power Supply (24 VDC) for R-110 ''
R-110/GRC Auxiliary Receiver TM 11-898
RT-68/GRC Receiver-Transmitter 1 TM 11-289
RT-70*/GRC Receiver-Transmitter 2 (* 70 or 70A or 70B) TM 11-290
SA-142/GSA-6 Chest Set Switch Box, part of AN/GSA-6
AN/GRC-7 Overall System Manual TM 11-284
AN/GRA-6 Control Group TM 11-5038
AN/GSA-6 Chest Set Group
There are a few more small items needed that are listed in the applicable
manuals. Without any doubt, the single most important manual to own is
the AN/GRC-7 overall system manual, TM 11-284.
When one collects all of the above, there will be more than 250 pounds
in that AN/GRC-7. Since hams...even most military radio collectors...
gratuitously disdain this gear, almost everything can be obtained rather
inexpensively. When it was introduced in 1949, this was world-class state-
of-the-art tactical VHF-FM gear. Nobody else had anything remotely as
capable for years.
