And then there's the bit about taking it to the local shipper's store but
you'll be responsible for paying the shipper directly.  And then fighting
it out with them when their totally unprofessional and inadequate packing
causes serious damage.  Been there, done that, over 25 years ago and never
again.

But that incident and the resulting damaged, repaired and repainted NC-200
anniversary edition led me to a trade for an original. unmodified BC-348R
with the power connector, so not a complete loss.
