[Milsurplus] "Rust Converting" Paint- Good? Bad?

The products are basically phosphoric acid based. They turn oxygen
permeable iron oxide into impermeable iron phosphate. They do work and
work well. I have used them in numerous old car and truck restorations
and have very good results from them. Be sure to remove grease and
loose surface rust but don't bother to take it down to shiny steel.
