The $50 RBO I got from you is providing excellent service over in garage
#3, it was indeed a very good price. Not sure if I should mention that a
few months back I purchased one from the Salvation Army in St Petersburg,
FL for $9.99 or not. It's in far worse shape. And it's sitting in Tampa
until the next time we drive down.

As one of the three original founders, you know I have a vested interest in
seeing NEAR-Fest succeed well into the future. It's still my favorite event
from the social side of the aisle. The AM Corral, Dale, Brown, and thew
military crew just around the corner, the Friday night AM dinner. I put low
prices on things and not only do they not sell, I can't even get anyone to
make an offer. Either they've lost the ability to haggle or they're afraid
I'll say 'sold!'.
The boxes of $1-$5 junque and parts I bring keep me at my table all

I saw very little of what was at Raleigh aside from a $300 RAL-7 & supply
on a table behind me, and a few other things. Staying at the table meant
selling more stuff, which started slow at first but was steady all day.
It's definitely a plus if you want to sell. And I've still got a lot to
sell.
Your prices have always been low, John. As long as I can remember. You
should never have trouble moving stuff. I must have just brought the wrong
stuff up there to sell. I know the last time we were there my friend
Joe/WA2PJP brought along a spare HRO-60 w/coils to sell. Started it at $375
and had it marked down to $250 - never got an offer. He got sick of
tripping over it and stuck it on ebay. It brought in $550 and they paid to
ship it. You just never know.
You'll see me back up there eventually, when the little princess says it's
okay. Had her in for her 4 month check up today, complete with more shots.
All I can say is, along with her mother's good looks she also got her
temperament!
