[Milsurplus] Timonium on the 6th

Every mention I've heard has been in the context of not going. I didn't go
last year and those who did said it was a bust, waste of time, etc since
the tax nazis shut down the tailgating outside. Aside from the one building
with the commercial vendors, in the past much of the inside selling was
junk unrelated to radio in any way, like huge boxes of used clothing, lawn
ornaments, broken bicycles, toys, etc. The radio stuff was hidden within.
Gave me the impression that they were more concerned with selling spaces
than putting on a hamfest.

A far cry from the days when the parking lot would be full up to the gate
at the road. I suspect it will follow Gaithersburg into the black hole of
the past. Makes sense though, when you look at the state's approach.
Beretta is even looking at moving their facilities out of state thanks to
more ridiculous laws.
