[Milsurplus] how to make name plates

Hi to the group over the years replacing/ making of the ID plates on the
equipment that this group is interested in appears to be a problem ,

The solution I cam up with is as follows 

1 a good quality image 

2 a scan of a genuine item 

3 take this information to your local engraver/trophy maker supplier with
this info / file on a flash drive or the image -photo.

   The company I deal with has a laser computer driven engraver they use +
the blanks / sheet

   EG black over aluminium the laser removes the black in a perfect
reproduction,

  Brass for instance gives fantastic results I have some times needed to
spray paint the base material my self 

 In order to get the results needed, red over ally is the tricky one for
some reason the laser finish is fuzzy and needing a touch up 

 Hopefully some of the group can try / be helped       

 The average cost is about $35-40 per plate set this may be more cost
effective in your local region.
