The earlier AR-88 series had military nomenclature but I can't recall
now what it was, Clete. Pretty sure the CR series were post war, Navy
designation CRV-46???? something. Final version used was the SC-88 aka
R-320/URR with the band-in-use windows, 1950s. Black wrinkle Signal
Corps version of the CR-88B I think.
