[Milsurplus] TDQ VHF TX

I found one of these in a craigslist add listing it as a shortwave set.  They asked me of its value, complete, unknown op cond, working when put away all three modules there.  Is there any real desire or market out there for a 6 pound per watt VHF AM TX?  My general rule is if even I dont want it or wish I could afford it, it must be junk! The owners, convinced I'm brilliant about this (Thanks to Nicks website), have asked for my input.  What say you all?
