Just looking at the panel, I'd guess the chassis of this 1918 BC-10
got used for some sort of DC power supply of battery charger.  The
seller did not (probably with purpose) show anything behind the panel.

But...BC-10s were sooooo common back in the 1920s.  I've heard that
you couldn't even give them away!  :-)
