thank you very much!   what a walk!     I did  not  realize they were  
selling    r278  grc   27   receivers   that   early as surplus; I worked  on 
those  in USAF in the 70's
we have one in the museum and need to find  transmitter to  go  with  it 
and  the am447 line  amp
 
I do  se the RDO  recv  Nick...I  wish I had   gotten that  when  I had  
the  chance looking back on  it! it is like an APR4 on steroids!  gotta  love 
the  3  meters!
