Good catch on the ARN-6, Jeep.  I looked at my C-4/ARN-7, and it has a 
tuning shaft in vertical line with the center of the dial.  The one in 
the auction is offset to the right.  Harder to tell which model of the 
ARN-6 control heads - they had several, from the original surface mount 
box to units that were part of larger panels, to the standard 5.75" 
console rack size.  Fair Radio used to sell one of the versions, two for 
$7.00.  I bought a couple just for the laced cables.  Never did figure 
out a use for the rest.
