[Milsurplus] ARA: Canadian Rework to 12 VDC?

Recently been resurrecting a 1.5-3.0 MC ARA
that was refurbished by Canadian Aviation Electronics in 1952.
Unlike most of the Canadian reworks I've seen before,
this one retained the original "bathtub" caps.
This set has been changed to 12 VDC operation and has
a 12-Volt dynamotor on the back. The wiring changes
aren't "factory quaility," but neither do they look "hacker."
Kinda "middling" quality- not clear either way.

The Australian wireless giant, Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia)
(AWA), reworked many SCR-274-N sets for 12 VDC
in the post-war period. Is there any indication that
Canadian Aviation Electronics did any official 12-volt conversions?
