i personally know Jeff (sierrariders); i have purchased from him and have been to his house (about 30 miles from me).

his job in life is to scour Nv/AZ/CA/ and the rest of the west to find items to sell - right now that's how he makes his living.

he's friendly, easy to deal with, etc; but he does have a lot of dealings w/ the audiophool crowd (mainly tubes/amps/etc) so he gets pretty good prices for them.

these items came out of a storage unit he found in northern/central CA;
it was offered for sale as one whole lot  first (can't remember the price, but there was an "BIN/Offer" possibility); he does not sell other than thru eBay (except very rarely), and finds many treasures.

no "change of life"; just a picker.
