The  Installation on Operation manuals for several sets have assembly
drawings  in the rear. Those are a good place to start.

You strip the wire  according to the print, and then assemble in layers.

Things like the  clamp, boot, backshell, washers and gaskets, and knorled
outer nuts go on  next.

You need to put precut insulating sleeves on each wire before  soldering.
Also, look at the pins. One side is cut out and you solder from  the cutout
side. This tells you what order to solder the pins,  BTW.
