[Milsurplus] OT: UPS Ground Insanity

I'm voting with Ron. I had a package damaged by UPS (processed a claim
and got the goods replaced - eventually), One lost in never-never land
(long time for payoff on it), and one delivered to the wrong address in
spite of the package being clearly marked. The vendor ate that one but
shipped the replacement via USPS. I have preferred USPS for years and
for all of the reasons Ron mentioned.

Had a postal money we sent to my son in the Navy for Christmas one year.
Stolen by a postal worker in NYC! My son got a replacement in short
order and the postal employee went to prison. An unhappy event with a
great outcome. UPS? meh...
