Just looked at the one you bought on EBay, looks like it may be the great grandfather of the HP/Agilent forty four hundred series digital power meters, they are all the rage now with digital broadcasters being that the old analog thru line stuff is no longer type accepted for use with digital transmitters. Do you have a complete working ABS system? Saw the display, receiver, junction box and dynamotor at MRCA and was temped but did not know how difficult getting the transmitter would have been but was real temped to buy it.

Subject: [Milsurplus] Last Call- ASB RADAR Output Meter- GONE

Hi All,

The meter has been spoken for, about six times over now. It will have a new home, which is not some landfill.

Since some seem curious about it, the eBay Item Number is 221148543306

Best,

-John

Hi,

I won an Output Power meter for the ASB RADARS on eBay a few days ago. I wanted the cables included in the sale. I already have an identical meter, NOS.

If anybody wants the meter and wooden case, free for postage, please drop me an email off-list.

These are pretty rare meters, but are not useful as ordinary power meters.
They meter average power from a pulse of a few uS with a PRF of roughly
500 Hz.

Best,

-John
