Interesting, Hutch. One could certainly build a very capable, respectable,
and even visually-attractive period power supply these days with the
availability of parts and materials. You could easily put something
together with plenty of safety margin for both the transmitter and user.
You could even give it a nice black wrinkle paint job with powder coat or
VHT rattle cans.

In my case, I have the matching dynamotor and all the necessary connectors
except the U-10/U to feed the dynamotor. Once I procure that, I'll build up
the cables using the steel braided hose approach and get the old girl back
on the air. That TCZ supply is just plain cool for its size and utilitarian
look, as well as the history. Wasn't looking for one but probably wouldn't
turn one down if wandered past. Same sorta thing that happened with my
RAX-1 affliction thanks to Mike Hanz's fine website. (o:  Before actually
learning about them, I didn't know what I was missing.
