Interesting, I have one also but it has been painted Navy Gray. In looking
around on it I do not see any sigh of black paint even where it has been
scraped.
Todd is lucky, mine has the motor generator set power supply/base and takes
110 V DC ! ! ! I am still trying to come up with a safe way to power mine
up !
