I have not attended Dayton (yet?), but I've seen this happen with the annual MRCG swap meet, too. Once eBay really took off, the buyers and sellers who would just show up for the swap meet stopped showing up.

I think that another thing which may exaggerate my perception of the decline of the military radio related swap meets is that my collection has gotten pretty big. What's left in the swap meets is more and more often stuff that I already have, so I don't even notice it as much as I would have a decade ago.
