[Milsurplus] Part 2 - Fair Radio photos

A couple very cool things about the place:

One, they let you disappear into the bowels of the warehouses
unattended. Don't forget that flashlight and extra batteries! Also,
take medication beforehand if you are *at all* sensitive to mold or
rodent droppings, and wear construction shoes. Bring a list if you need
tubes, they have more than you can imagine. Those buildings are close
to being condemned, so be careful.

Two, they have mountains of hard to find items. One reason for this is
that they want some pretty steep prices. So always ask around, check
ebay and these lists first. They charge enough that they will retrieve
parts from rare equipment for you. Even Harris, WJ, etc. But not for
the faint of wallet. For example, last year a one cubic foot box of
assemblies and parts (nothing ultra special, some waveguide adapters,
many connectors, transformers, inductors, meters) ended up costing me
$800. This year I spent more like $45 total over two visits. It can be
cheaper to buy an entire radio at a swap meet than the part you need at
Fair... so be warned. But if you want to see more green radios than you
ever imagined, and some you've never heard of, that is the place..
