I have a USN type MAK I will probably be moving out, likely by Epay, but
I thot I'd mention it here also. I have the radio, good condition but not
better; "TRIMMER" front panel antenna capacitor has been removed.
I have the vibrator PS, separate unit, in VG condition but minus the bottom
plate and shock mount. ( MAK does have shockmount & base ). I have a
control box. ( Actually I think I have 2 of them. ) I will, I hope, be able
to
offer a manual photocopy. This is a 2-4 Mcs. A2, A3 radio.
NAVY RADIO website catalog

http://www.navy-radio.com/manuals/94200/94200_1_09-2.pdf

has photo of MAK and later version MO with 3-8 Mcs range.
Spec'd as 25W output. Antenna down to 4 ft if some sections get
shot away.

There is very little I actually seek as possible trade. I will be looking
for a
GN-45 / SCR-284 ( BC-654 ) or GN-35 (?) for BC-474, as longer term
projects. And GN-58 for SCR-294/ BC-1306. I could use a junker
No. 19 MkII or MkIII for antenna connectors. Grill bars for BC-1306.
Grill for No.19 MkII.

I also have a USCG CGR-13 ( I think ) regen receiver, long wave only,
from 1931, I think. Because of its low freq range I will probably be
disposing of it.
