Yes Eugene, its the correct mic. Might be a low insert of course but
need other users thoughts to prove that.

Are you using the stock mic? I haven't experimented to check the audio,

anyone with the SE-6861 transceiver find the 'talk power' on ssb to be
low?I am getting full o/p on CW, it just seems on ssb that there is not
much punch from the set, I don't know if there is a vogad or such on
the mic audio but I feel there could be more o/p when speaking into the
mic. On a whistle there's a lot more o/p. Even allowing for the meter
lag I get a far better o/p when using my VRC247 for instance.Anyone
found this problem and corrected it? (Is there a pot inside one can
