[Milsurplus] DC vs AC for power distribution

Insufficient for what?  Hands-on, tinkering, playing with ideas, a lot of what 
we know came from there.  To do the best with something that is known, that's 
where engineering comes in.  This is much more so in electronics, perhaps, than 
physics.

These days theory and science hardly matter at times, though, especially when 
what you are trying to say may go against some big money interests.
