Here's an odd site I encountered while trying to look up a particular make 
of receiver:

How much money and effort these countries expended on radio jamming!!!!!!
But the wallet finally went empty.

"We have over 4000  A.M. band radio stations", boasted the American.
"That's nothing," gestured the Russian dismissively. "We have over 10,000 
modern
jammer stations".

It's at least heartwarming to see that the comrades, in spirit of 
international friendship, also
employed Racal (U.K.) and RCA receivers.
