[Milsurplus] U.K. Submarines Receiver WW2 ?

Was looking at U.S. magazine "Radio-Electronics" for Jan. 1955 with an 
article on underwater
TV camera as used to view the submarine 'Affray' which was lost with all 
hands in the Channel
in April 1951. The ship was commissioned in 1944. I then read the concise 
history of the sub
in Wikipedia. I think the part about the woman seeing in a dream a 
submariner in soaked wet
clothing telling her the location of the still undiscovered Affray, bears 
more reading, but I see
no way to pursue this interesting lead. However, what I am wondering now, 
is: what would have
been the communications equipment installed in this WW2 era sub, originally 
designed for use
against Japan, but appearing too late in 1945 to participate?  Tnx - Hue
