There will be periods when there will be large pile ups  but you 
should not have any trouble.
It's a challenge to try to work several of the stations.
Some of the stations  use to  exchange QSL cards  but I do not know if 
they
still do it.  WAR in Washington is usually pretty easy to work and has 
a nice QSL card.
The Cross band Military Ops is a long  amateur tradition that was 
always held on Armed Forces day.
So I guess the challenge this year will be to work WAR and "Wacky 
Iraqi" at the History Fair.

WOW! This sounds like a total blast! I am really excited to try to
participate this year.  I wonder though...do these frequencies pile up 
with
folks trying to contact these military stations? I am not big on 
contesting.
Or is this more laid back? This sounds like a ton of fun though.

This, combined with the Moose and Squirrel net, would be a good reason

bring along some SSB-capable gear.  The military crossband thing would
require something with split frequency RX/TX capability, or 2 radios.
