Good luck but I will warn you that I have seen NOS MT-1029 at Gilbert and Aberdeen for $5 to $10 each, sometimes more but have always been able to get them cheap. If you have the installation kit with all the cables and stuff that’s one thing but for reasons I cannot explain there is a glut of them on the surplus market. Lot of the VRC-12 family of radios are approaching the $100 to $200 price range, long way from tem years ago when they were going for $400 to $600 so maybe more people will be buying and using them and maybe there will be a market for the mounts.

I'm looking at a quantity of used mounts for the RT-524A and similar vehicle radios, these are part number MT-1029/VRC. If anybody's interested in these, I'll check further to see what the seller wants for them.
