I liked the movie Quo Vadis With Taylor and Kerr but there were
numerous
errors with the military equipment and vehicles.

Unfortunately most movies are made for teens or young adults because
this is
where the market is.
They do to the theatre not just to view the film but to have night
out with
their friends and enjoy the experience with people who share a common
interest.
Baby boomer's like us are cheap. Even if there was an excellent film
in
theatres we'd wait until it is available via Netflix or in the Walmart
bargin bin before viewing it.

So I bought this movie at Safeway for $6.99, "Battle of the Bulge",
which
taught me again
the proof of "you get what you pay for", and reinforced my suspicion
of
fiction works, like
a well grounded suspicion of packaged fish at its pull date. Without
going
into the many
ahistorical equipments in the movie, or the absurd subplots, or inane
scenes, I summarize:
truly EXECRABLE. I can understand a person up to maybe age 16-18 being
thrilled by the
movie, but: if over about 18 years old, how dumb would one have to be,
to
enjoy this?
And for the gullible, how many points would watching it, subtract from
one's
IQ ? The
screenwriters, do they really not live among actual real people, and
can't
imagine how
real people react in the face of real danger?
Actually, I did get almost $6.00 worth of value from it: by selecting
the
Spanish subtitles,
I am able to learn many useful colloquial phrases. Ignore the action
on the
screen.
