I would not be surprised if some of the money RCA got for Navy radio 
development was diverted to their work on color tv, they did not begin 
to make a  profit on the color sets until the early 1960's.  I wonder if 
anyone besides Collins took SSB seriously, the conversion of the RCA 
ARC-21 to the ARC-65 was really awful compared to the Collins ARC-58.  I 
know many people hated the SRR-11/12/13, I would probably agree with 
them if I had to work on them daily, but I am looking for them if anyone 
has one to sell.
