Dave,
I sold all that I had acquired over the years to a guy doing a USMC SCR-608
installation (Jeep). Very early IN-121's (maybe it was a prototype, but I
saw one somewhere years ago) were machined out of linen or canvas-based
phonolic. I made a set for a Weasel SCR-694-C installation last Summer.
IN-121 is a flanged tube.
LOA 1-1/8"
Flange OD 1-1/2"
Flange Thickness 1/4"
Tube OD 1"
Tube ID 7/16"
Grooves 4 about 1/16" R semicurcular equally spaced
Color Dark Brown
Hitch Clip McMaster 98395A229
I would in your case do what I did for the Weasel and cut only the groove
that you actually need. In the Weasel, the insulators were actually mounted
with modified P-clips. I didn't record the part number but I bought a foot
of 1-1/2" dia. phenolic from McMaster. Likewise, the round nose grooving
cutter came from McMaster.
