Here is a listing of all the main components required for a complete
Bendix RA-10DB/TA-12B installation:
RA-10DB Receiver: 150-400, 400-1100, 2000-5000, 5000-10000 kHz
MR-11D Loop relay unit, part of RA-10DB
MR-9B Receiver control box
MN-52B Loop control box
MN-20E DF loop
TA-12B Transmitter: 300-600, 3000-4800, 4000-6400, 4370-7000 kHz
MT-53B MF tank coil
MT-51C Transmitter control box
MT-31C Transmitter tuning meter
MT-11B Morse key
MS-14B System junction box
MS-18B Microphone jack box
I have all the above except the last two items.
The TA-12C (vs. the TA-12B) covered up to 12000 kHz,
but lacked any overlap in its three HF channels.
It was thus less versatile for setting multiple
channels for frequencies that were relatively close
together, as most commonly used frequencies of that
era were. In addition, Bendix did not make a comparable
receiver that covered through the 12000 kHz range of the
TA-12C. There were several other less common versions.
