[Milsurplus] HV Fuses: You Were Right, I Was Wrong

It turns out fuse wire is still available. It's called

COOPER BUSSMANN - BFW-2 - BUSS FUSE WIRE

And a number of distributers list it. There are other guages too, at least
BFW-1

I've not searched the specs, but:

BFW-1 = 0.016"
BFW-2 = 0.025

The down side is it's not cheap...  aout $80 per roll at a quick look.
