If it were me, I'd try and get some 'fuse wire'. I don't know if it is
still available. They used to use it for domestic fuses in the UK.

If you can get it, empty out the fuse, preserving the sand, and replace
the wire and refill w/ the sand. You will need LMP solder.

If you can't find fuse wire, consider fine magnet wire with the
appropriate fusing current.
