[Milsurplus] War Surplus Radio Store recreated?

WOW! there is someone else who remembers Meshna. They tended to have
assemblies and parts more than complete radios, but their latest catalog
was always welcomed at the nerd table in high school, as was the Fair
Radio catalog and it's quarterly supplements. I went to G&G in New York
City in 1975 when they were in their death throes. A couple rooms
stacked to the ceiling with stuff mostly in boxes, all the good stuff
long gone. Leeds radio was also getting ready to pull the plug in
Manhattan, I think they are back in business in Brooklyn today. The
most tragic I have seen was in Ithaca, New York. It had been closed for
years, and you could look in the window and see lots of good stuff. I
was told the owner fell ill and left everything snarled in paperwork. It
disappeared overnight in the mid 1990's
