[Milsurplus] eBay estate lot.. now more joy from Epay

I guess, since no one has mentioned it, that it's taken for granted that the whole idea of having a starting price lower than the reserve price is to suck more bidders into the whole auction routine. That's how it works, and that's how it's supposed to work. The other option is to make the starting price equal to the reserve price. With this option the seller will get fewer bidders or maybe even no bidders.

to whoever was whining about reserves...
do not be and AH if you do not like the item or the reserve just go
away,
I can understand certain sellers listing good items with reserves. It
is important to cover something sometimes of value when the people you
want to see it are the REAL buyers... but on an off week if the real
buyers are on vacation you do not want someone to saunter in and buy it for
99 cents!
remember... it is HIS item and HE can determine how and under what
structure it can be sold
and if there is a reserve why are you winning it if you do not like it
and then being an AH and leaving one star feedbacks? Get a grip man!
