Hi,

This is from another Group I moderate. IMO, it's interesting because of
the Dutch site that is a gallery of plugs and sockets.

If, by any chance, someone has a source for the needed cable socket,
please contact the OP off-list.

Best,

-John

I've done a bit more researching..... The Projectina microscope is from
1958.

Fortunately in the Netherlands there is a historical site for various
plugs and sockets:

http://www.fam-oud.nl/~plugsocket/PowerCord2.html

The one it appears I am after is image "2".

Given the descriptor of this page, it appears this plug is an obsolete
version of an earthed computer cable.

I'll try and source one from older scientific equipment around the lab,
but it maybe indeed easier to rewire the microscope to take a computer
socket.

If by chance any of you know of anyone who would part/sell a plug like in
image number "2" please shoot me an email, as I'd prefer not to rewire
this beautiful old microscope.

Thanks for all replies and help so far.

Stuart
