[Milsurplus] [MRCA] 42.8 Broadcast

  I was wondering the same; could tropo or meteor scatter get this signal to the west coast? Doubtful, I think.
  Occsionally, back in the early '70's, while in college in New London,Conn. I could receive FM broadcasts from New York City with strong signals just after dawn. I thought that was good DX for FM! It only lasted a few to maybe 20 minutes at best. I had a Scott tube receiver back then.

So WA2XMN would come in on channel 28.

For an advantageous condition of solar activity there's a good chance that
such a station might be heard at a very long distance.

It would be good to hear of such transmission schedules on this list.
