Howdy gang - I'm trying to understand more about older Navy antenna patch
panels - These use the Navy Type 49121A concentric connectors for patch
cords and 49120 jacks (like the ones on the rear of RBA, RBB, etc.). One
drawing I have shows RG-12 coaxial lines coming into the patch panel and
screwing onto the rear of the 49120 jack.

This screw-on termination is a Navy Type 62112. But I don't know what it
really looks like or how it attaches to the 49120.
Any info, photo, drawing would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, the above drawing shows how multiple receivers were connected
to one antenna before multicouplers came into use. There were 4 receiver
jacks connected to the antenna, one directly and 3 via 600 ohm isolation
resistors.
and speaking of 49120 jacks like on the rear of the RBB, RBC, etc., I've
found a source and will be making a bulk purchase some time - The USS Texas
guys need 150 of 'em to recreate a missing 23404 patch panel, but the parts
broker says he can get up to 1000 of these jacks. So if you need some, let
me know and I'll keep you posted. Don't know about price yet.
cheers,
