Speaking of Pye,
Recently there was an Aircraft Radio Corporation set, probably "50's-60's" comercial, on auction that was manufactured by Pye under license.
Any info on this arraingment?

On a semi-related topic:
What is the official nsame for the "British Style" circular, multipin
onnectors used on the SCR-522
and
Why does the APN-9 and -9A use those same connectors (as well as the Pye
onnector for the antenna? (The Pye is also used on the WS 19 A & B set
erials)

I summarized the Army Signal Corps "green book" history for the SCR-522
at http://aafradio.org/flightdeck/bendix2.htm Francesco. Dunno how
accurate the original source is - all history books have a little bit of
bias in them - but the story seems reasonable.
