[Milsurplus] SCR-522 Question

On a semi-related topic:

What is the official nsame for the "British Style" circular, multipin
connectors used on the SCR-522

and

Why does the APN-9 and -9A use those same connectors (as well as the Pye
connector for the antenna? (The Pye is also used on the WS 19 A & B set
aerials)
