Does anyone have a list of USN ship call signs from before or during WW2?
US Navy Call Sign Book Part I: Radio Calls and Addresses -- 1929-1935
US Navy Secret Radio Call List No.1 -- C.S.P. 581 -- 1932
US Navy Call Sign Book Part I: Radio Call Signs -- 1939-1941
US Navy Call Sign Book -- 1942

Please let me know if you have a copy for sale or loan for me to scan.

Note - there is an April 1944 copy of DNC-3(A) at
http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/USN/ref/CallSigns/index.html
but by that time many ships had been struck off or converted.
