I've never seen one in more than 40 years of looking.

The manual implies that there were 935 made, and that none had the mod
that replaced five of the six 5647 vacuum tube signal diodes with 1N458
solid-state diodes. The manual says that was done for the AN/SRR-11
above serial 1275 and for the AN/SRR-13A above serial 1430, makes it
likely that there were several times as many 11 and 13A models as 12
models.

I always liked my 13A, which provided me a lot of service between
1970 and 1979. My 13A is in very good condition, although some of
the control labeling on the front panel has worn away. I'd consider
replacing the front panel if I had a junker that had a good unflawed
front panel.

I suppose one really should have an AN/SRT-14 to go with the
AN/SRR-13A. :-)

WRT the 12, if 935 were made, one would think they'd still be found
once in a while. I believe there are several list members who have
the (somewhat useless) AN/BRR-3 (14 to 30 kHz) that provided SSBN
submarines their main contact with the national command authority,
35 years ago and earlier, even though I'm sure there were far fewer
than 935 of those ever made.

WRT the replacement of the 5647 with the 1N458 for the 11 and 13A,
the one remaining 5647 is in the AGC delay circuit. It's hard to
imagine why, in a fairly non-critical circuit, the 5647 would
have remained in use.
