In German, it would not spell "voice" or "tone" the same regardless. May be
a similar idea, but, not the German unit. Regardless, that is a neat web

Well it looks sort of like that - but I really don't think so - The
Lichtsprechgerät 80/80 has eyepieces at opposite end from lenses and no
TONE-VOICE switch.
