They show up. An un-hacked TA-12C (which also covers the 300 to 600 kHz range)
went for only $51 on eBay two days ago. But...the MT-53B external MF PA tank
coil is a mandatory component for that range and it can be rather difficult to
come across. Also, the MP-28BA dynamotor/modulator for the TA-12* is not an
easy thing to get either, not that one would be modulating anything on that
band except perhaps PSK31.
The T-47/ART-13 with O-16/ART-13 and CU-25/ART-13 PA tank coil, or (even better)
the T-47A/ART-13 with O-17/ART-13A and CU-32/ART-13A PA tank coil would be a
great choice.
The ATD transmitter CRR-52253 with (non-standard) LF/MF tuning unit CRR-47207
and LF/MF antenna tuning unit CRR-47206 would likely do nicely as well.
Neither of these would need any 800 cps power, like the common GO and GP sets.
