  Subject: [Milsurplus] Lead Acid cell

I picked up an old boat radio that uses battery tubes and a vibrator
supply to operate from a single 2 volt lead-acid cell. The Willard tag
is in the unit and I'm guessing it's the same as the BB-54-A that was
  used by some military radios.

I assume there are no sources for those, so was wondering if anyone
might have a suggestion for a 2 volt cell other than the Hawker Gates /
  Enersys SLAs?

  Thanks and 73,
  Bob W9RAN
