As I said before, I operated the BC-191 on aeronautical navigation
beacon frequencies, 200 - 400 KHz, at various places I was stationed
in USAF. They were steady carrier, modulated by a keyed ID tone.
Never a problem, except the small power supplies usually failed.
Removed transmitter top, put a forced air 2 inch pipe with holes over
the tubes.
Used the LF antenna tuner box. We could use a 3 inch piece of wire
and light a cigarette on the Antenna Post. Hey, you guys be careful.
LF will bite because the antennas are usually HiZ, what with Dipoles
being kind of long. I will try a 8 foot diameter loop for a start.
